BACKGROUND
Our mission is to offer learners new options so that they can learn in their own way rather than through conventional or traditional ways.
We believe that curriculum content should integrate skills so that the learner senses the connection among them and to himself. We like to "tickle" all intelligences (Gardner) and learning styles to engage people whom the system has left out.
We encourage dialog and community building among our learners and service providers both as a way to learn to learn and as preparation for the workforce, where appropriate.
